Neil is back from his visit to Draper’s UK headquarters in Southampton where he spent 2 days with the Draper team testing and demonstrating a huge variety of their tools.
In this video he’s joined by Mark from Draper who talks us through the features and benefits of the Draper 45574 46cc chainsaw, plus demonstrates the chainsaw in action*.
Neil had to travel to Southampton without me this time as he spent two days enjoying the hospitality of Draper Tools. I have to say, I’m jealous, having listened to some of the audio interviews Neil recorded. Draper is know for it’s testing processes, and Neil catches up with the guys in the stress testing department, and also picks the brains of the warehouse managers regarding the technology they use to make sure the tools are delivered to you in a timely fashion. Technology is the order of the day and I’m looking forward to seeing the video footage from the trip, which we’ll make available here, on YouTube and on Facebook.
This is a useful piece of iconic Black and Decker hardware, especially if keeping your car, boat or caravan clean and tidy is a priority. The features include cyclonic action, Easy Empty system (notice how well Craig shows this off! He’s a natural) and a blowing facility allowing you to use the device to inflate air beds, etc.
It’s a corded vacuum cleaner, fitted with a 6m cable and has a bag full of accessories, so there’s no excuse to keep your car clear of crisps and the other detritus children tend to leave in their wake. Pick one up today from Toolstop.
Neil’s back in the studio after his successful conquest of LEJOG, dodgy tan lines aside. This week we get Chris Elsworthy(link to his Twitter feed) on the phone to talk about a great review CEL UK received for the MultiPRO multi-tool in a woodworking magazine.
We also try and pump Chris for any top secret info about his next range of power tool inventions. Listen below to hear what he had to say. And he lets us know about his search for the new TV face of CEL UK.
Neil was delighted to find this article in DIY Week about our outdoor activities and spending habits, particularly in and around our gardens. No offense intended to our Aberdeen listeners. And always remember your PPE…
Remember to check out the Tool Factor – do you have what it takes to be the new face of CEL UK?
CEL UK are looking for someone who knows their way around power tools and is good in front of the camera to be their new face on the shopping channels.
Do you have what it takes? Make a video, upload it to YouTube and add it as a response to our video here. And good luck…
